26th May 2005: Wexford Suite performance

The first performance of "The Wexford Suite" for school orchestra took place in St Ibar's Church in Wexford on 7th May 2005. The County Wexford Youth Orchestra was conducted by the composer, and the piece was well received. Addtitionally, the orchestra also performed a piece by the students I was mentoring, and a short piece, "Winter Sunshine" by Thomas Doyle (16), one of the orchestra members who plays double bass, and certainly a composer to watch out for in the future.
