5th April 2005: 'Winter'

"Winter" from Signals was performed on Monday 11th April at 1.00 pm in a lunchtime recital by Annina Ahola in the McCann Hall of the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, Chatham Street, Dublin 2. It was also a sad occasion because her teacher (and the performer of the entire suite of vioin pieces on my CD Ard Fhearta from which Winter is taken), Frantizek Jaros, was leaving the country the next day to return to Hungary after many years living and teaching here.
